Easter Vigil

The Great Vigil of Easter is a glorious pageant and celebration in word, song, and action.  The mystery of God made human who died and who was resurrected is brought to the church.  We believe God came to show us a better way to live in harmony with each other and the entire world. We will start the service at 5 pm with the kindling of the New Fire and the singing of the Exsultet, the ancient chant of Christ's victory over death.     Book of Common Prayer:  see Easter Vigil for details.  Following the service, at about 6:30, we will serve a meal to all who wish.
